     Ashe Carpet and Tile,  located at 909 South Jefferson Ave., across from Shokudo's.
     Ashe Carpet and Tile is owned by Mark Smole, who has 28 years installation experience. He performs all installations with the help of his sons Jesse and Ethan. His wife, Diane, manages the showroom.
     "We are pleased to be in our new location, which is more visible and customer-friendly," said Smole. "We sell Mohawk and Shaw-brand carpet, tile, laminate, and rugs." The shop also carries Crossville and Florida tile, with a large selection of porcelain, glass and metal tile, as well as CMH tile, laminate and pre-finished hardwood.
     "Customers can also check out our sales board for the latest sale items and can save even more with a DIY discount," Smole added.
     Store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Wednesday and Saturday by appointment. The owners can also be reached by phone at 336-246-2008.

Company history

 

    Ashe Carpet and Tile was established in May 2004. When the Smole's oldest son graduated from high school, the family decided to open a the store and sell the products that they install. This website was done by Ethan Smole as his high school senior project.
